Opening in theaters nationwide this week are (with music by): A Minecraft Movie (Mark Mothersbaugh), Freaky Tales (Raphael Saadiq) and Hell of a Summer (Jay McCarrol). Expanding nationwide from its limited release last week is The Friend (Jay Wadley & Trevor Gureckis).

- Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, I'll See You in My Dreams) is turning 43 on Tuesday, April 8.
