WaterTower Music is excited to announce today's release of the 21-track soundtrack to Manifest, the character-driven mystery-drama from executive producers Jeff Rake, Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke, in which a commercial plane inexplicably disappears on a trans-oceanic flight and, more mysteriously, returns five years later after being presumed lost at sea. While no time has passed for those on the flight, years have gone by for their loved ones at home who have learned to live with their loss. Manifest Season 4, Part 2 premieres on Friday, June 2, 2023 on Netflix.
The Manifest (Soundtrack from the Netflix Original Series), features the music of one of the most successful prime time composers currently on television - Emmy-nominated composer Danny Lux. The prolific composer has scored well over 2000 episodes covering all categories from dramas to comedies to horror feature films.
Executive Producer Jeff Rake discussed Lux's musical contributions to the show and the soundtrack: "One cannot truly experience Manifest with the volume turned down. The emotion, suspense, terror, joy and pain all come together through Danny Lux's pitch perfect score = of which the layers never cease to amaze me. Rake continued, "On a dime, he subtly turns us from one emotional journey to the next. Our hearts swell, leap, and suddenly are crushed. His captivating cues take each scene to its utmost level, and we are swept away. Turn it up!"
Composer Danny Lux further described his work on the Manifest (Soundtrack from the Netflix Original Series): "Manifest has been an epic storytelling adventure which allowed me to write a soundtrack that followed the mythology. Rarely do I get an opportunity to create themes that track so specifically to the characters and their actions. This soundtrack is a chronological listening experience that tracks the entire series. It starts with the very first musical score heard in episode one and ends with the very last score heard in the finale."
