Variety has reported that Ennio Morricone's scheduled concerts in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Mexico City have been cancelled. Members of the group scheduled to perform in L.A. said the given reason was the "serious health issues" of the legendary composer. Morricone's upcoming 21 scheduled dates in Europe through early next year have also been called into question.
The three concerts in North America had originally been scheduled for March of this year, but had been pushed to June when the maestro's doctors advised him not to travel long distances while recovering from back surgery.
