The 4th Annual Film & Music Conference will centre on the theme of Shakespeare and music and feature a keynote interview with Patrick Doyle, composer of the scores for Kenneth Branagh\'s film adaptations of Shakespeare, as well as recent releases Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Nanny McPhee and Sleuth. In addition to his appearance at the conference we hope Patrick Doyle will participate in a Screentalk interview on the evening of Wednesday, 5 March.
The programme will feature presentations covering a range of Shakespeare and film music topics, and a round-table session Shakespeare, film and music.
The conference is presented by The University of Leeds School of Music and the School of Art at Brunel University, in collaboration with the National Media Museum. This year\'s conference is also presented in association with Dare, a new collaborative partnership between the University of Leeds and Opera North, and is part of Opera North\'s 2007/08 Shakespeare season.
The fee is £20 for the full conference with £12 for concessions. Registration begins at 10am on Wednesday 5 March at Gumption Centres Ltd, Glydegate, Bradford, opposite the National Media Museum.
