The Milagro Beanfield War

The film, The Milagro Beanfield War, was scored by Dave Grusin. He won an Academy Award for Best Original Score, and yet there has never been a movie soundtrack album made of this music. You can hear some of the music, on Dave Grusin's albums, Migration, and The Orchestral Album, but it is not produced there exactly as it was in the film. One part that is missing is the wonderful guitar work by Angel Romero, and the orchestration that was done for the actual film. This music deserves better recognition than it receives, and the story in the movie was also an excellent one.
