La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures present a remastered CD re-issue of the renowned composer Ryuichi Sakamoto's original score to the 1992 period feature film drama Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, based upon the classic novel, and starring Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche, and directed by Peter Kosminsky.
Now officially available for the first time outside of its original 1992 Japanese soundtrack release, the late and acclaimed Maestro's Wuthering Heights score returns, remastered and ripe for rediscovery. Highly dramatic and by turns deeply romantic, tragically haunting, and beautifully innocent, Sakamoto's wonderous work is an orchestral marvel to savor.
Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this presentation includes five previously unreleased tracks, as well as exclusive, in-depth liner notes by writer John Takis. The release is limited to 1000 units and features art direction by Goldwasser.
This release is dedicated to the memory of Ryuichi Sakamoto.
